This oil on canvas edition was conceived after Ioannidou’s most recent trip to Cyprus, the island where she was born. It is reminiscent of the way the sky was peaking through the grapevines along the veranda of her late grandmother’s house, a timeless moment which created an imaginary place where new histories can be realized.
We are thrilled that the artist has made two painting editions for Schroeder Romero Editions–one is Beetroot Red and the other is Electric Blue. This image shows both paintings together but please note they are sold individually. The Electric Blue painting edition is also listed on our site.
